The Friends of the South Pasadena Library will host their annual Holiday Sale from December 5–7, 2025, in the Library Community Room.

This beloved community event will feature an extensive, curated selection of current and classic fiction, children’s books, art and coffee table volumes, antiquarian collectibles, and a wide range of nonfiction titles. Shoppers can also browse entertainment items such as DVDs, CDs, and puzzles, as well as works by and about local authors and artists.
Proceeds from the sale provide vital support for the South Pasadena Library, helping to fund new materials, the Summer Reading Program, and other special programs throughout the year. Along with bookstore sales and membership dues, these funds play a key role in sustaining the Library’s offerings.
Sale Hours
- Friday, December 5:
6:00 – 8:00 pm (Early admission at 5:00 pm for Friends members at the $20 level.) Complimentary gift wrapping available while supplies last. - Saturday, December 6:
11:00 am – 3:00 pm. - Sunday, December 7:
1:00 – 4:00 pm.
Sunday’s event will also feature a Holiday Marketplace, where local artisans will offer handmade gifts, including ceramics, jewelry, art cards, and fiber arts, perfect for holiday shopping.
Community members are encouraged to support the Library by attending the sale or becoming members of the Friends of the South Pasadena Library. Membership information is available at the Library and on the Friends’ website.
