You can’t be too careful.

Six firefighting vehicles, three more on the way, a police car and a helicopter were focused on what one firefighter called “a small fire” on the precipitous hillside between Angeles Crest Highway and the smoky Arroyo Seco in La Cañada.
Small at 8:00 am today maybe but with masses of bone-dry brush lying around it’s a tinderbox that could erupt at any time and threaten the hundred houses in Angeles Crest Estates.
> Fire was stopped in two hours.
