      The 10th Annual Bike Week Pasadena rolls through May 14th-19th, 2018 providing more opportunities for community members to zip along on two wheels in fun, supported, and engaging ways!

      A week-long showcase for most skill levels and age groups to promote bicycling as a safe and sustainable way to access your daily errands and favorite activities presented by C.I.C.L.E., and the City of Pasadena.

      Monday, May 14th – Taste of Pasadena

      Come hungry for a decadent sampling of Pasadena’s tastiest dishes! Join us for a pedal-powered feast and sample food from Pasadena Playhouse restaurants and Old Town Pasadena. This bicycle tour highlights delicious eateries, providing sweet and savory fuel for the journey to each spot.

      Location
      Meet at Memorial Park (on the corner of Holly and Raymond)
      Time
      Arrive at 6:00 pm, leave at 6:30pm – 9:00 pm
      Accessible: By the Metro Gold Line, Memorial Park Station

      What to Bring
      Your bicycle, in good running order, a lock and plenty of night lights. All participants should be able to ride a bike safely with the ability to brake, change gears, and balance while stopping and starting. All participants under 18 must wear a helmet and be escorted by a parent or guardian. Children under age 8 should be on a tag-a-long, bike trailer, tandem, or other safe child-carrying device to participate in the ride.

      Although it’s free, you must register here so they will know how many are showing up.

      Wednesday, May 16 – Women’s Bike Night (Ride & Bicycle Clinic)

      This event will include an evening ride under the stars and engaging workshops for women who love to ride, ending up at the Pasadena Cyclery! We’ll end the evening with a post-ride social gathering with discounted drinks and food. This ride aims to create a unique space for women-identified riders but it’s open to everyone.

      Thursday, May 17th – Bike to Work Day & Happy Hour Party

      We’ll be on the Euclid side of Pasadena City Hall passing out Cliff Bars and coffee to celebrate all bicycle commuters. Stop by and say hello during your commute.

      There’s also an after work Bike Happy Hour Party. Join other bicycling commuters as we give high fives to all who rode their bikes to work. Drinks and treats are on C.I.C.L.E. as we say thank you for biking.

      Friday, May 18th – Bike-In Movie Night

      Forget the back seat and roll up on a saddle! Bicyclists will ride together to an outdoor screening party with snacks and hot drinks. Join us with your friends, family or a date for an unforgettable evening under the stars. This year’s movie is The Way Way Back.

      Saturday, May 19th – Pedal with Your Pet Pedal Party

      The end of the week’s festivities is with a Pet Pedal Party. Dress up your pet and tour Pasadena on your bike. There will be a vote on the best outfit. The winner will receive a fun gift basket from one of the sponsors, then ride to a Pasadena gastropub for free dogs (no pun intended) and beer. You don’t need a pet to join the ride!

      Cyclists Inciting Change thru Live Exchange (C.I.C.L.E.) is a nonprofit organization working to promote the bicycle as a viable, healthy and sustainable transportation choice.
