L.A. metro is offering free rides to celebrate Earth Day!

      By Vahe Simonyan

      According to The Source:

The idea behind the freebie rides is to encourage people to take transit and help reduce air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions in L.A. County.

Stickers will be handed out to remind the populous of Metro’s good deed in fighting climate change.

In addition to Metro, Metrolink will also be offering free rides on Earth Day across Southern California. And Metro Bike Share will let you unlock free 30-minute bike rides with the promo code 4222019. ($1.75 per each 30 min. thereafter). The code can be used multiple times throughout the day.*

*Valid at any Smart or Classic Metro Bike Share station. Not valid online.
