Apparently Pasadena and Bicycles have a long history together.

A photo from the Victorian era depicts a Bicycle Parade in Downtown Pasadena.
A partial sign for a hotel is visible on the upper left side corner of the photo. An educated guess from one of our readers suggested that it could be for the “Carlton Hotel.”

This photo is from the Ride Roll & Stroll – 2014, where bikers had Colorado Boulevard all to themselves, for few hours at least.
It’s nice to know that certain traditions are valued and kept alive in the city of roses.

I’m going to stab a guess at the hotel being the Carlton Hotel. Was a popular name back then.
