      This holiday season, experience the magic of Bob Baker’s Nutcracker, the beloved marionette adaptation of the classic ballet that has been enchanting families for over 50 years!

      Running through January 4, 2026, this spellbinding production returns to Sierra Madre Playhouse with 50 performances full of festive cheer and family-friendly fun.

      Featuring more than 100 handcrafted marionettes, Bob Baker’s Nutcracker brings to life iconic characters like Clara, the Nutcracker, the Rat King, and the Sugar Plum Fairy. Along with these classic figures, you’ll also meet some of Bob Baker’s original whimsical creations, adding to the charm and wonder of this timeless holiday tradition.

      The production transforms Sierra Madre Playhouse into a magical dreamscape, complete with large-scale marionettes and intricate sets. It’s a perfect outing for multi-generational families, date nights, and anyone looking for a festive and enchanting way to celebrate the season.
