L.A. County Supervisor Kathryn Barger and her team will provide a helping hand by supporting meal prep and food distributions the day before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Barger’s annual “Day of Giving” community service will take place at five community sites. One of them will be the Altadena Senior Center at 560 E. Mariposa St., Altadena, CA 91001.

Every year, Supervisor Barger and her team support the efforts of various nonprofit organizations and L.A. County senior centers that are preparing and distributing Thanksgiving meals for their clients and members of the public. Barger has annually hosted the “Day of Giving” the day before Thanksgiving since 2016.

Meal prep will start at 9:30 am at the Senior Center in Altadena and meal service for seniors and others will start at 11:45 am.
