The FXX network will air ALL 552 of “The Simpsons” episodes consecutively, starting August 21st.
Yes, every episode of The Simpsons will air non-stop for 12 days with no breaks. Day and night until all episodes are shown. This is what the network has said:
Hey, you like your Homer? Good, because this is where you’ll be able to find him for the foreseeable future.
The FXX move coincides with the network’s purchase of rerun rights and the development of an app that gives access to every episode.
First-run episodes will continue to air on the Fox broadcast network.
What happens after the marathon ends?
After the marathon ends on Labor Day, the FXX network will start airing the episodes in a four hour block every Sunday leading up to the time a new episode is aired in prime time on Fox.
If you don’t have cable, you can always find a party at a buddy’s house.
