Beloved local art space McGinty’s Gallery at the End of the World is making a big shift, returning to its original mission as a community art gallery.

In preparation for this transition, the gallery is hosting a special three-day liquidation sale to clear out existing shop inventory.
The sale will take place Friday through Sunday, August 22, 23, and 24, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day at 869 E. Mariposa Street in Altadena.
Shoppers can expect a wide variety of unique finds, including furniture, knick-knacks, glass and barware, books, LPs and 45s, and even some shop fixtures. It’s an opportunity to support a long-standing Altadena business that has not only served the creative community for years, but also survived a devastating fire.
“IT’S TIME FOR A SALE!!” the gallery announced enthusiastically. “Stop by, support this Altadena business, and say hello, it’ll be nice to see you.”
McGinty’s transition marks a new chapter for the space, once again focusing on fostering local art and community engagement.
