On the nights of October 2 and 3, be cautious on Washington Blvd. where it crosses Altadena Drive. And be prepared for traffic on Altadena Drive to be detoured.

As part of an ongoing year-long project to repave and reconstruct a 2-mile length of Washington Blvd., Los Angeles County Public Works will be using recycled and re-used materials. The work will make this upgrade both green and cost and wear-effective for motorists.
Work on the Washington Blvd/Altadena Dr intersection will begin at 7:00 pm and go on overnight until 6:00 am. Traffic on Washington Blvd will be reduced to one lane in either direction. Traffic on Altadena Dr will be detoured around the construction site. The north side of the intersection will be under construction on October 2nd, while the south side will be done on October 3. Drivers should expect delays due to the work and should remain alert and drive slowly. Residents should be aware that driveway access will be impacted during construction.
All motorists should be prepared for delays and detours, and allow extra time and caution while traveling along the construction sites.
For immediate assistance during work hours, contact the construction manager, Johnny Truong at (818) 471-6312, or inspector Pedro Mendoza, at (626) 614-6304. During non-working hours, call dispatch at (800) 675-HELP (458-4357).
