The Altadena Town Council will meet at 7:00 pm on November 18, 2025, at the Altadena Community Center to address key local issues and officially certify the results of the recent town elections.

One of the primary items on the agenda is the Certification of Election Results, which will be led by Isis Moulden, Chair of the Election Committee. The meeting will formally approve the results, granting official recognition to the newly elected council members. After the formal swearing in, the newly elected councilmembers will take their seats at the December meeting.
Other significant items include updates from various officers and community representatives. Victoria Knapp, Chair of the Town Council, will deliver her regular report, while Vice Chair Nic Arnzen will provide an update. Kim Yu, the Recording Secretary, will seek approval for the minutes from the October 21, 2025 meeting.
The meeting will also feature presentations on public safety, with representatives from the Altadena Sheriff’s Station, the California Highway Patrol, and the Los Angeles County Fire Department. A special presentation by Michael Miranda, a civil engineer with LA County Public Works, will focus on mud and debris flow and the town’s flood control efforts.
Additionally, the Council will discuss several community initiatives, including updates from the Altadena Library District and California Community Action Resource (CCAR). Reports will also be presented from various committees, including Land Use, Holiday Party Planning, Renters Protection and Recovery, and Education.
Residents are encouraged to attend and participate during the General Public Comment period, which allows community members to share concerns or suggestions with the Council.
The meeting will be held at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Drive. As always, public comments will be limited to two minutes, and community members may submit comment cards prior to or during the meeting.
