Join a day of literacy and family fun, featuring readings, arts & crafts, games, music, and more. Reconnect with friends and neighbors while enjoying a variety of activities. At 11:00 am, LeVar Burton will read his book, The Rhino Who Swallowed a Storm.
The Altadena Main Library officially reopened on March 4, after being closed for two months due to the Eaton Fire. The library has been fully remediated and is now ready to continue serving the Altadena community as it moves forward with its recovery.
For nearly a century, the Altadena Library District has been an essential resource for the community, offering a welcoming space for neighbors to connect, access technology, and engage in creative and educational activities. The library provides free Wi-Fi, computers, resources for school assignments, literacy programs, and a Fab Lab for creative projects. In addition, it offers unique services like borrowing books and blood pressure monitors, as well as showcasing local art and music.
