For the past year, a group of classic car enthusiasts have been quietly (or not-so-quietly, depending on the engine) meeting up in the parking lot of Bulgarini Gelato, 749 East Altadena Drive, Altadena, every Saturday from 8:00 am – 10:00 am.

This Saturday, January 10, 2026, marking its one-year anniversary, the group Cars and Coffee is celebrating by holding a longer fundraising event from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm, holding raffles, serving Rodney’s Ribs and Nancy’s Greek Cafe delights, hosting a beer garden, and raising funds for a neighbor’s Datsun 510 car restoration.

The idea was to encourage fellow Eaton Fire survivors to re-establish community and perhaps find creative ways to help one another. The public is invited to stop by for mutual encouragement, good laughs, and a close-up look at some automotive beauties.
