The city of Alhambra has unveiled three shiny new ‘Alhambra’ signs in separate parks, just to remind you… yep, you’re still in Alhambra.

Whether you’re walking your dog, playing soccer, or relaxing under a tree, you can now rest easy knowing your GPS-free anxiety is officially over.
But it raises a fun question: Are there really that many people wandering through parks unsure of what city they’re in? Has anyone ever been halfway through a picnic and thought, ‘Wait… is this Burbank?’
Probably not. But hey, branding is everything. And these signs do look nice, big, italic, civic-pride, Gothic-style font
Still, with three of them popping up, some residents might wonder if those dollars could’ve been better spent on things like benches, bathrooms, or power washing the sidewalks on Main St. (Have you tried walking there lately?)
So, do we need three reminders that we’re in Alhambra? Probably not. But now, no matter where you stroll, Alhambra will be right there, in italics, just in case you forget.
