      Sierra Madre’s National Night Out celebration joins the city’s thrilling weekend of entertainment.

      The Sierra Madre Police Department will host its National Night Out in conjunction with Sierra Madre’s summer outdoor movie series. Activities start at 6:00 pm. A showing of Inside Out 2 will begin at dusk. Enjoy jumpers, a DJ, face painting, games, free popcorn, and community fun.       Sierra Madre Playhouse presents Jagan Ramamoorthy, a violinist, vocalist, and composer celebrated for his captivating interpretations that fuse time-honored Southern and Northern Indian music traditions with contemporary influences. His performances blend the intricate nuances of the Gaayaki-Ang genre (singing through the instrument, a playing technique which emulates the flexibility of the human voice) with a deep knowledge of rare ragas and traditional compositions.
