“Being the Change: A New Kind of Climate Documentary” comes to the Armory Of the Arts as part of the Conscientious Projector film series.
Filmmakers Mary Grandelis and Dave Davis’ inspiring documentary explores the life and work of Caltech / Jet Propulsion Laboratory atmospheric scientist, and local activist/author Peter Kalmus, who demonstrates how he and his family of four have reduced their household carbon footprint by 90%.
The Zen Again Films production also features longtime climate activists/spokespersons Ed Begley and Mike Farrell. The message is clear: We can all live happier, more satisfying lives while reconnecting with ourselves, our communities, and the biosphere. In the process, we just might spark a climate revolution that truly changes everything.
Peter Kalmus joins for a community discussion following the film.
