Everyone knows by now that Pasadena’s first elected mayor, Bill Bogaard, will not seek re-election. His decision has opened the door wide open to many possibilities on the mayor seat and city council seats as well.
Here’s what’s in store for Pasadena mayoral elections in 2015.
Six candidates, so far
Six people have officially entered the mayor race so far:
Jason Hardin: Official website.
Don Morgan: Official website.
Jacque Robinson: Official website.
Allen Shay: Official website.
William Tompson: Official website.
Terry Tornek: Official website.
City Council seats
Council seats are also up for election:
District 1: Jackie Robinson (see above).
District 2: Margaret McAustin (pulled papers for re-election).
District 4: Gene Masuda (pulled papers for re-election).
District 6: Steve Madison (considering a mayoral run. Madison has not pulled papers for re-election for his seat yet).
With open seats, and a race that is just heating up, we are bound to see more surprises in the coming weeks.
