Ori Fragman-Sapir—botanist, conservationist, and director of the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens—is set to lead a journey through one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet.

Guests will join Fragman-Sapir as he explores the rich and varied landscapes of the Middle East, spanning Israel, Egypt, Jordan, the Mediterranean mountains, coastal plains, and the region’s extreme desert environments.
As director of the largest botanical garden in the region, Fragman-Sapir will also offer an insider’s perspective on the Jerusalem Botanical Gardens and its vital role in regional conservation. Drawing on decades of experience, he will share stories from the frontlines of plant protection, highlighting collaborative projects with government bodies, environmental organizations, and local communities aimed at preserving endangered species and restoring fragile habitats.
