The 28 finalists vying for a coveted spot on the 2026 Rose Court gathered for a group photo at Tournament House earlier this week, marking an exciting step in the selection process. These finalists were chosen from a competitive pool of applicants from 41 Pasadena-area schools, each demonstrating academic excellence, strong community involvement, and leadership potential.

      By News Desk

The prestigious Rose Court, presented by Citizens Business Bank, is a longstanding tradition within the Tournament of Roses, offering young women not only a chance to be part of a historic event but also an opportunity for personal growth and community service. Seven of these 28 finalists will be named to the 2026 Rose Court on Monday, September 29, 2025.

“We are excited to continue the treasured legacy of the Rose Court, where members gain confidence and connect with their communities through hands-on volunteerism and service,” said a Tournament of Roses statement. “These young women will benefit from transformative experiences that will shape their futures in meaningful ways, all while receiving a $7,500 academic scholarship.”

As part of their journey, the Rose Court finalists undergo personal development programs that enhance their public speaking and presentation skills, refine their etiquette, and foster self-assurance. These experiences are designed to prepare them for life beyond the Court and provide them with the tools to thrive in their academic and professional careers.

In addition to their academic achievements, the finalists were selected based on their contributions to their schools and communities, public speaking skills, and leadership abilities. Volunteer members of the Tournament of Roses’ Queen & Court Committee meticulously reviewed each applicant’s qualifications before making their final selections.
