San Gabriel City Council Candidate John Harrington appears to have difficulty deciding what he stands for.
By Editorial Board
Harrington has distributed three sets of postcards, paid for from his own campaign funds, in which he claims to be “Supported by San Gabriel’s Independent Leaders,” “Supported by Senator Susan Rubio and San Gabriel’s Democratic Leaders,” and “Supported by Kathryn Barger and San Gabriel’s Republican Leaders.”
It appears that Harrington used voter registration information to identify party affiliation and then sent voters the mailer for that affiliation.
Is Harrington an Independent, a Democrat or a Republican? Does he know? He may not know what he is, but our sources say he is a Libertarian.
