Pasadena City Hall and many City services and administrative offices will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day, a day to honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The public is invited to attend a special Veterans Day ceremony at Pasadena City Hall, 100 N. Garfield Ave., on Tuesday, Nov. 11, beginning at 10 :00 am.
Veterans Day Closures and Exceptions
- Pasadena Police and Fire Departments will remain staffed for all patrol, jail, fire, paramedic, and emergency services, but business and administrative offices will be closed. To report suspicious activity, call Pasadena Police at (626) 744-4241. For life-threatening emergencies, dial 9-1-1.
- Power emergencies: Pasadena residents and businesses should call Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) at (626) 744-4673. For water-related emergencies, call (626) 744-4138. PWP’s Customer Service Call Center will be closed for the holiday, but customers can access their accounts and make payments by phone at (626) 744-4005 or online at PWPweb.com.
- City Service Center (CSC): The CSC will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11, and will return to regular hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) on Wednesday, Nov. 12. The CSC is available online or by calling (626) 744-7311. Residents with City trash and recycling service will follow their regular pickup schedule, including any previously scheduled bulky item pickups.
- Pasadena Transit and Pasadena Dial-A-Ride will operate on their normal schedules. All parking meters will be free, and parking time limits will not be enforced. However, violations for overnight parking, red curb parking, “No Parking” zones, and blocking fire hydrants will be enforced. Regular enforcement will resume on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
- Housing Department: The public lobby will be closed on Monday, Nov. 10, but staff will be available by phone and email. The Housing Department will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11. Regular hours will resume Wednesday, Nov. 12.
- Permit Center: The Permit Center will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11, but many services are available online, including obtaining subtrade permits and submitting plans for new construction, tenant improvements, accessory dwelling units, and additions. In-person services will resume Wednesday, Nov. 12.
- Pasadena Public Libraries: All library locations will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11. Regular hours will resume Wednesday, Nov. 12.
- Parks: All parks will be open for picnics, fun, and play; however, no site reservations will be accepted for the holiday.
