A disturbing incident unfolded on Wednesday, February 5, when a suspect entered a South Pasadena School District building, armed with a plastic sword and a three-foot metal fencing pole. According to authorities, the suspect was later found lying down inside the building, concealing a three-inch kitchen knife.

The police were quickly on the scene and made contact with the individual, who was promptly apprehended. Investigators confirmed that the suspect had encountered one staff member while inside, but fortunately, no injuries occurred. Notably, no children were inside the building at the time.
The motive behind the suspect’s actions remains unclear, and law enforcement is continuing to investigate.
