Many of the Altadena Town Council members tragically lost everything in the fire, yet they continue to selflessly care for the entire town while navigating their own personal challenges.

As homes were destroyed, belongings were reduced to ashes, and lives were forever changed, these dedicated leaders continue to put the needs of our town first, working tirelessly to help Altadena recover.

As they deal with the fallout from their own personal losses, they also are working to navigate the complexities of recovery efforts. They are collaborating with the County, and offering guidance to the community, all while facing the very real personal struggles that come with such a devastating crisis.

Their efforts often go unnoticed by those of us not directly involved in the recovery process. There are no flashy headlines or media attention, just an unyielding dedication to the town they love. These leaders care deeply about Altadena, and their work is a testament to the strength and unity that define our community.

It’s easy to forget the unseen sacrifices that come with leadership, especially during times of crisis. But we should take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate the incredible work of the Altadena Town Council members.
