The Meaningful Conversations Book Club of Pasadena has been having a wonderful experience reading books on important social issues, followed by deep dialogues.
By Lisa Phelps
One and a half years ago, The Meaningful Conversations Book Club of Pasadena embarked on a purposeful journey to tackle social justice issues by studying Pulitzer Prize winning fiction and nonfiction works. It has been a beautiful ride thus far.

Perhaps by truly understanding and finding empathy for others, we can move toward a kinder, gentler world from one that so often operates through a lens of judgment and misunderstandings.
