Don Baird
in a blue bowl
glides a blue whale
not a sound
where my heart longs
for you in my dream

Kathy Uyen Nguyen
dappled shades
of this July afternoon
I sip the blue bowl
of silence
from my teacup
Kathy Uyen Nguyen lives in the Gulf Coastal region of Texas, USA where she passionately teaches yoga classes. She finds rhythm in breath, pain, health, and nature. This poem she says, “stemmed from my meditative state after yoga and teaching. I felt like my breath was the key to open up my mind, heart, and soul”.

Louis Osofsky
teeming
with life, this “blue marble”
framed by shorelines,
as if in darkness
our home exists
Louis Osofsky lives in Deva, Romania, where he makes a living as a freelance translator. He writes mainly in English, and loves to write tanka, haiku and sijo as well as to experiment with various Eastern and Western fixed form poetry genres.
*Photo Art by Don Baird. He simply adjusts the color saturation in his natural photos to exaggerate what is there.

Thank you, Kathabela, for all you do!
Right now I don’t feel
the way my blue bowl does
bawling all over
Thank you, Poets, for inviting dreams!!
What a lovely way to begin the day!
