Street Closures for Pasadena National Night Out on August 5

In preparation for National Night Out events, several streets will be temporarily closed to traffic on Tuesday, August 5, to ensure the safety of participants and allow for community gatherings.

The following closures will be in effect:

• Garfield Avenue:
  Closed between Thurgood Marshall Street and Walnut Street from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
• Thurgood Marshall Street:
  Closed between Garfield Avenue and Euclid Avenue will also be closed from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
• Madison Avenue:
  Closed between Mountain Street and Herbert Street will be closed from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
• Hastings Ranch Drive:
  Closed between Alegria Street and Coronet Avenue will be closed from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes during the closure periods.

National Night Out is an annual event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live.
