The San Gabriel valley is bracing for another round of widespread rain this evening, as another storm system is sweeping through the region.

Meteorologists warn that scattered showers will persist behind the main front into Tuesday, with the added possibility of thunderstorms. The system has already delivered areas of heavy downpours accompanied by gusty winds, raising concerns about localized flooding, mud and rock slides, downed trees, and reduced visibility on roadways. Officials urge drivers to exercise caution and remind the public: “Turn around, don’t drive through flooded roadways.”
The weekend storm has already earned a place in the record books, described as one of the heaviest November storms in California’s history. Its impact is far from over, with forecasts suggesting unsettled weather will continue to affect communities across Southern California in the days ahead.
Residents are advised to stay alert for rapidly changing conditions and to prepare for potential hazards as the storm system moves through.
