At a press conference in front of the Pasadena Police Department on December 13, 2023, Attorney Brad Gage made several allegations involving members of the Pasadena Police Department. One of the most egregious was that a member of my Command Staff assaulted a Police Officer.
As the Chief of Police, I feel compelled to respond to this allegation as I have the professional and moral obligation to let the public know I will not tolerate any such acts and that this allegation has been thoroughly investigated.
