Thurmond, joined by PUSD Superintendent Elizabeth Blanco, Board of Education members, the District’s Food Service Team, and dedicated staff, helped distribute Grab & Go meals to students and families in need at Madison Elementary (School, 515 E Ashtabula St.).
The Eaton Fire has significantly impacted the PUSD community, leading to increased demand for essential services. On Jan. 10, the District served 900 meals, and anticipates distributing more than 1,200 meals on Jan.13. The District’s Food Service Team, along with PUSD volunteers, are working tirelessly to ensure no student goes without a meal during this challenging time.
