On November 17, the South Pasadena High School choir hopped on a bus to Pasadena City College to tour the campus and engage with the PCC Chamber Choir.

SPHS singers had the opportunity to work with PCC Choir Director Professor Guerrero in Westerbeck Recital Hall.
The high school choir received college-level feedback and direction on their performance of the 16th-century French madrigal Je Ne L’ose Dire. The choir had the pleasure of previewing selections from PCC’s upcoming winter concert. Both choirs joined together at the end of the exchange by combining ensembles and singing a piece together.
The excursion to PCC was funded by a SPEF Teacher Grant prepared by SPHS Choir Director Wylder Reinman.
