In California, eligible students who are 16-17 are able to pre-register and those 18 and over are able to register to vote.
Seniors from Maryann Nielsen’s AP Government and Alisia Engelhard’s Civics classes at SPHS volunteered their time during lunch to help students pre-register and register to vote so that their voices may be heard in upcoming elections.
