The City of South Pasadena will host its annual State of the City address on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, during the regular City Council meeting.

The event will take place in the Amedee O. “Dick” Richards, Jr., Council Chambers, located at 1424 Mission Street, and will begin promptly at 7:00 pm.
Mayor Janet Braun will deliver a presentation highlighting key achievements and progress made over the past year, while also outlining plans and objectives for the city’s future. The address will provide residents with an overview of the city’s ongoing projects, as well as an outlook for upcoming developments and initiatives.
Following the presentation, attendees are invited to join a brief reception where food and refreshments will be provided.
The State of the City is open to all South Pasadena residents. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be available for live viewing on the City’s official website. Additionally, the City Council meeting will be recorded and accessible online for six months.
Residents are encouraged to attend this opportunity to engage with the city’s leadership and gain insights into the direction South Pasadena is heading in 2025 and beyond.
