South Pasadena – ColoradoBoulveard.net:
A local community organization, South Pas Active Streets, organized “bike bus” rides to Arroyo Vista and Marengo elementary schools on October 5th.

Coinciding with South Pasadena Walk or Bike to School Day, these chaperoned, safety-in-numbers bike rides created an active way for children to get to two South Pasadena Elementary schools.
Over 30 children and 20 adults participated in three different routes to school. With a core group of riders starting the ride at one end, participants would join the “bike bus” group along its route as it wound its way toward school. Besides parents, volunteers on these rides included members of DUDES South Pasadena and Mayor Michael Cacciotti.
South Pas Active Streets seeks to provide safe opportunities for active mobility, supporting our children’s health, independence, and well-being. With the success of Wednesday’s first-ever South Pas Walk and Roll, the organization will be coordinating more “bike buses” and “walking buses” in the future.

I loved the idea and ride my bike often around town but the roads really need help! Fremont, grevelia are horrible to ride on
Yup have the same problem. Unfortunately someone liked my bike so much they decided to walk off with it. Currently looking for a new one. Really miss riding, pot holes and all.
