The event provided critical supplies such as food, water, diapers, pet food, hygiene products, and more to those in need. Approximately 2,500 households from the San Gabriel Valley received essential resources designed to support them through these challenging times.
Chair Pro Tem Solis spoke on the importance of the event, stating, “Many families in our community have been deeply affected not only by the devastating wildfires but also by ongoing challenges like utility shutoffs, job losses, food insecurity, and the soaring cost of housing. As we continue to assess the full scope of assistance needed in the wake of these hardships, it’s essential that we come together to support those struggling. This distribution is just one of many steps toward helping our neighbors recover and rebuild.”
