San Gabriel Gears Up for 48th Annual Turkey Trot at Plaza Park

The City of San Gabriel invites residents and visitors to lace up their running shoes for the 48th Annual San Gabriel Turkey Trot, taking place at Plaza Park in the city’s historic Mission District.

This year’s event offers something for everyone, featuring a variety of race options including the 5K and 2.5K runs, the Kids 1K, and the crowd-favorite Mini Mashed Potato Dash for young athletes.

All participants will receive a commemorative finisher’s medal and event T-shirt, while top finishers in each category will be recognized with special awards.

Check-in begins bright and early at 6:00 am, with the first races starting at 7:00 am. The Turkey Trot promises an energetic morning filled with community spirit and holiday cheer, welcoming runners, families, and supporters alike.
