Rent Relief and Eviction Protection Programs Continue into 2022

The state-level eviction protection beginning October 1st, 2021 is only extended to those who apply and qualify for the program.

Here are important details to note:

• The state’s rent relief program is not ending on September 30th.
  The program is active and currently accepting applications. There is no deadline to apply.
• State-level eviction protections change at the end of the month.
  Though the current eviction protections end on September 30th, starting October 1st a modified eviction protection goes into effect through March 31st, 2022, for those who are eligible for rental assistance. The protections can be accessed by applying for rental assistance.
