Adorable – as in the French perfume
J’adore – but not the flowery kind
      Rather the musky spice
      Of your naked body.

      Gentle, charming, delightful
      Fit, boisterous, persistent,
      Singing carols out of tune,
With muscles flexing under the smooth skin,
      Ready for the home run.
      Nice, not naughty, but nice
      Through and through.

Green Leaf (Photo - Maja Trochimczyk).Maja Trochimczyk, a Polish-born poet, music historian and photographer, has published six books on music and three poetry collections. She especially loves writing love poems, found blooming amidst her books ”Rose Always,” “Miriam’s Iris” and “Slicing the Bread”.

Emanuela Nicolova lives in Sofia, Bulgaria. Born by the sea, she has spent many sleepless inland nights dreaming of it, yearning for it, listening to its melodies, coming from afar, whispering to her heart. Her poem is a siren’s song she overheard one night.
