The soulful musician and song stylist will take audiences on an eclectic journey in his Make Music Pasadena performance at Levitt Pavilion Pasadena.
You may know Stuwart from hearing his music from his acclaimed first album, We Do What We Do. This summer, fans will have the opportunity to experience one of his rootsy, timeless and honest performances live in concert at the Levitt Pavilion on June 6, 2015 as part of the Make Music Pasadena show.
Raspin’s unique presence is right at home, everywhere from a signified theater to a well-worn blues club. In addition to his appearance at Make Music Pasadena, he has wowed audiences at NAMM 2014 and 2015, as well as in his standing room-only club appearances and in music festivals up and down the West Coast. These include noteworthy music events such as San Diego’s Adams Street Music festival on the Starbucks stage and the Blues Stage of the San Mateo Music festival.

Whether he’s live or on CD, Raspin’s emotional, striking lyrics shine bright against a melodic background. This will be quite evident when playing songs from his forthcoming CD, King of Fools. The eclectic mix of theatrical, captivating and soulful music provides a most satisfying follow-up to his critically acclaimed, Starbucks-endorsed CD, We Do What We Do. New songs to be performed include New York 2 L.A., Love Along the Way (a unique roots-60s pop hybrid), the soulful, down-home warmth of Mama’s Got the Blues, and his spin on Donovan’s Hurdy Gurdy Man, which he truly makes his own.
Midtown, Rumblin & Tumblin and the politically-charged single Smoke the Hookah from We Do What We Do will also be in the set.
