The Greater Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley are set to experience a rainy start to the week, with showers expected to roll in on Monday and continue into the evening.

      By News Desk

The weekend storm that swept through Southern California has been described as one of the heaviest November storms in the state’s history. Forecasts suggest that the storm’s impact isn’t over yet.

      Monday:
Residents can expect a wet start to the day, with showers likely to begin after 10:00 am. Temperatures will hover around 58°F, with light winds gusting up to 15 mph. The chance of rain is high, about 80%, with total rainfall expected between 0.75 and 1 inch. As the day progresses, rain will taper off by evening, though there’s still a chance of additional showers.

      Monday Night:
Showers are expected to continue until around 10:00 pm, with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures dropping to 43°F. Winds will calm to about 5 mph, shifting from the southwest to a more tranquil evening breeze. The chance of rain remains at 70%, with up to a quarter-inch of additional rainfall possible.

      Tuesday:
A brief break in the rain is expected on Tuesday, with only a 30% chance of showers after 4:00 pm. Partly sunny conditions will prevail, with highs near 55°F and light, southerly winds. Rainfall is expected to be light, with totals less than a tenth of an inch.

      Tuesday Night:
Light showers may continue into the night, primarily before 10:00 pm. Expect partly cloudy skies and temperatures around 42°F. Winds will shift to the northeast at 5 mph, with rain amounts remaining minimal.

      Wednesday:
A dry day is in store, with plenty of sunshine and highs around 58°F. It will be a welcome break from the rain, with calm conditions throughout the day.

      Wednesday Night:
Skies will remain partly cloudy as temperatures cool to around 44°F.

      Thursday:
A slight chance of showers returns Thursday after 10:00 am, with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures near 57°F. While heavy rain isn’t expected, isolated light showers are possible in the afternoon.

      Thursday Night:
Showers are more likely before 4:00 am on Friday, with mostly cloudy conditions and a low around 43°F.

      Friday:
The week will wrap up with a slight chance of showers before 10:00 am, followed by partly sunny skies and highs near 58°F. Overnight, temperatures will dip to around 44°F under partly cloudy skies.

      Stay Prepared:
Residents should prepare for a wet start to the week, with conditions drying out by mid-week. Be sure to stay updated on local weather alerts, as rainfall may cause localized flooding in some areas.
