All streets surrounding Barnes Park will be closed on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Due for President Biden’s visit to Monterey Park, the following street closures are in effect:
- Newmark Ave/Ramona Ave/Harding Ave/McPherrin Ave.
Limited vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be allowed. Residents are advised to plan accordingly. In addition to the closures around Barnes Park, Garfield Avenue will be closed for all traffic periodically during the day.

On Tuesday, March 14, a White House statement announced that President Joe Biden will travel to Monterey Park to “discuss his efforts to reduce gun violence.”
