Tim Becker, director of horticulture at the Thomas Payne Foundation, will present “Flora of the San Gabriel Mountains” Thursday, Aug. 1, at 2:00 pm at the Pasadena Senior Center.

Becker, who has more than a decade of experience in the field of horticulture, will explore with participants the unique and often rare wildflowers that grow in the rugged mountains.

The presentation is free for members of the Pasadena Senior Center and $5 for nonmembers 50 and older. Residence in Pasadena is not required.
