The arrest occurred on Friday, April 19, 2024, at approximately 10:09 am. The vehicle was spotted entering South Pasadena, prompting immediate police response.

Officers located the vehicle at the intersection of Fremont Avenue and Monterey Road. Despite initial non-compliance from the driver, the vehicle slowly came to a stop near Fremont Avenue and Rollin Street. A high-risk traffic stop was conducted, and two individuals were detained without incident.

San Bernardino County officers arrived on the scene to assume responsibility for the ongoing investigation. The traffic stop occurred near South Pasadena High School and Holy Family School. The operation posed no threat to students or school staff.
