Devin Harrison, a winner of the Akita haiku Contest (Japan), lives in the pacific coast rain forest in British Columbia where he nurtures a minimalist life style. He is a former resident of Pasadena.

Alegria Imperial
steeped in sunset
our eyes on each other
drink wine—
once bitter to the taste
now vaguely honeyed dew
After earning a degree in literature and journalism from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Alegria Imperial worked in government, education, culture, and journalism. She migrated to Vancouver, BC, Canada where she currently publishes in many international journals.
