Liz Goetz
all those years of taking as given
the mountain skyline
rich vegetation
gentle climate
it took someone from another country
to show me my own terrain
Liz Goetz, a California native, has a long learning curve. She appreciates the beauty of Pasadena more and more, as she gets older.

Tom Hall
I’ve always thought of Pasadena
as a small town
Today driving rain-freshed streets
amazed how far from Raymond to Lake
Arroyo, Molina, Los Robles –still more
Hudson — at last ! aha: Lake.
[now turn left] –[this isn’t Texas]
Tom Hall, was a resident of Glendale. He was a local phenomenon and poet appearing in Pasadena performance poetry and purveying neutral buoyant balloon pets to recovering children of all ages.

Tom, This is Shamrock, Texas, where everything is within half a mile, and the streets have no name signs. This isn’t Pasadena.
Liz, good for that someone. If can just get to Chicago, Ill show it to you.
