but look —
here comes our red-headed mailman

almost hide the mailbox
in the heat
Tom Clausen is a life long Ithacan who has counted his trips to the mailbox every day as one of the highlights of everyday especially when he gets something personal or poetic or both! A day without mail, Sundays and holidays, have always felt to be something less than all those other days!

Amanda Dcosta
Her scribbled note
dormant in the mail
for months;
she writes
from heaven
Amanda Dcosta lives in Ruwi, Oman. She says “Nana’s second-last letter to me was lost in the mail, and I finally received it nine months after she passed away. Her last letter turned up two years later. Her letters were of exquisite flair and writing style. She still holds me captive.” Nana Pearl has been a great influence and instrumental in honing her writing talent, and poetic streak.
