      POETRY CORNER

      – 3/16/16

      Louis Osofsky

      now the rain
      pouring on
      my words,
      just spilling along
      this me in March

Louis Osofsky says “I write. I’m a creative writing graduate student, because it is never too late to have an education, even at sixty-six years young; residing in Sacramento, California; and a part-time substitute teacher for 6th through 12th grades, to encourage ‘protracted infancy”‘in me and energetically hold curiosity for young people.”

      Art Kingston

      embracing the sea
as it rushes to and fro
      a sky full of birds
      weaving invisibly
the swirls from within my soul

Robert A. Kingston says “I live in a town called Rayleigh, in the county of Essex, England UK. the town is a short distance from the Thames estuary which is where this poem was born.”

      sunny corner
      for the hummingbirds
      my pocket garden
      overflowing
      with tiny jewels

Barbara Kaufmann gardens in New York, where she enjoys the gifts even a tiny garden can bring, in all seasons, including visitors like birds, butterflies, squirrels, dragonflies and bees. It is truly more than enough!. She says “It gives me pleasure in all four seasons!.”

      Alexis Rotella

      Stop moaning
I say to the night wind
      I have enough
      aches and pains
      of my own

Artist and poet Alexis Rotella, of Arnold, Maryland, says “everyone has a story including the night wind”.
