icicles dripping…
on the other side of the window
houseplant in the sun

just a scarf
her scant warmth
in the garden

Tom Clausen is a lifelong resident of Ithaca, NY. He is retired from working at the Mann Library, at Cornell University where the statue is wearing a scarf and “Feeding the Birds“.

Deborah P Kolodji has attended every Rose Parade since 1979 except 3. She moderates the Southern California Haiku Study Group which meets monthly on the 3rd Saturday of every month at the USC Pacific Asia Museum.
