      (For Jeff)

      Stevie Strang

      I will survive
      the shipwreck
      and calla lilies
      will bloom
      once again

Stevie Strang is a poet and photographer living in the beach town of Laguna Niguel, CA. Dedicating her time to easing her mother’s later years, and sensitive to the trials we all encounter, she maintains her creative vitality and strong artistry. Stevie writes this poem as a gift for her son, Jeff. The trials of enduring the loss of dear friends to sudden catastrophe are so heartbreaking.

      quietly

      of perennial delight

Giselle Maya lives in Provence and loves writing poems and prose in the Japanese genre. She writes daily in her journals: a garden journal with notes about surprises in the garden.

Thank you Pat and Susan for feeling the depth of this. It was such a beautiful experience to feel it take shape, the poets and artists words and images joining and honoring our beginnings and endings… in a “perennial” “circle”!
