Pasadena’s celebration of Black History for the year 2019 starts on January 12 and extends all the way to March 17.

      By Events Manager

The celebrations will include a parade, special events, lectures and activities.  The City and volunteer Black History Parade & Festival Planning Committee have prepared a full schedule of events in celebration of the achievements by black Americans and in recognition of African-Americans in U.S. History.

Pasadena’s Black History Month Parade, one of the largest in the U.S., will be recorded by Pasadena Media to be broadcast on KPAS (Pasadena’s government TV station).
