Juneteenth Celebration (Photos – kent.edu)
Pasadena’s 4th Annual Roller Jam in celebration of Juneteenth, organized in partnership with the City of Pasadena and the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, will feature roller skating, vendors, food trucks, resource tables from the City of Pasadena, and music from DJ Lady P.

The celebration aims to highlight local businesses while providing family-friendly entertainment. Several skating groups are expected to participate, including Skyhigh Rollers 420, Inglewood Roller Skaters, Lovergirl Skate Club, and Black Girls Skate International. The skating area will be set up in the City Hall rotunda, providing space for skaters of all ages. Attendees can bring their own skates or rent them at a flat rate of $10 for one to four hours.
The event will include a designated play area and art-making space for children, supervised by Armory teaching artists. Join Armory teaching artists in art-making activities from 4:00 – 7:30 pm. Bounce houses will also be available for younger attendees.
This event is free and open to the public.
